How to separate drums from a song on iPhone

DrumSplit runs in any mobile browser — no app install needed. You can upload audio files from your iPhone's Files app, Music library exports or Voice Memos and get separated drum stems back as a download.

DrumSplit is a web tool, not a native app. It works in Safari and Chrome on iPhone. The processing happens on our servers, so your iPhone's hardware does not matter — the same GPU-powered separation runs regardless of your device.

Step-by-step

  1. Open drumsplit.io in Safari or Chrome. The site is fully responsive and works on any iPhone running iOS 15 or later.
  2. Tap the upload area. You can upload from the Files app, a shared link, or export an M4A from Apple Music.
  3. Choose your mode. Natural for most music, Puncher for EDM and hip-hop.
  4. Pay $0.99 via Apple Pay or card. Apple Pay works in Safari for the fastest checkout.
  5. Wait 2-3 minutes and download. The stems zip downloads to your Files app. Open it to access the 6 WAV files.
